1991
Foundation of the company by José Latre and Carlos Latre in Montcada y Reixac (Barcelona).
Start of production of domestic plugs and sockets made of thermoplastic.
1992
Germany (Hanover Industry) Participation in the first international fair of the electrical sector, Hannover Industry.
1995
Inauguration of the Huesca plant for the manufacture of watertight boxes, derivation and plasterboard.
2001
Certification of the Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO9001 standard.
2009
Inauguration of the first commercial subsidiary in the Czech Republic, Famatel CZ.
2011
Inauguration of the commercial subsidiary in France, Famatel FR.

Incorporation of the company ROSI Italy, manufacturer of industrial sockets, into the Famatel group.
